What a murder mystery invitation needs
- The theme, so guests can plan an outfit
- Date and arrival time
- Where to go
- An RSVP deadline, because every guest gets a role
- The dress code, with an easy option for people who hate costumes
- A hint that everyone is a suspect
When to send it
Send invitations two to four weeks ahead for a dinner party, and six weeks or more for a hens weekend or anything involving travel. Murder mysteries depend on the guest list, so ask for a firm RSVP date and chase late replies a week out.
Personal invites with characters
A group invite tells people when to turn up. A personal invite tells them who they are. With Murder At Mine, every guest gets their own link: they RSVP in one tap and, once they say Going, see their character, a public persona and a costume brief. Secrets stay locked until party night.
